I was impressed with the Ipad building and how good it looks from west terrace.
Hopefully this will be similar.
Imagine in a few years time having 8-10 storey buildings lined up near west terrace.

Ipad? Surely not. I think it is one of the worst developments in Adelaide.

Mate, what's wrong with Ipad ?
It's good to have buildings on the edge of the CBD like that. Otherwise tourists come into the city from the airport
and they will think they are driving into a village.

Has there been much progress down here in the past few weeks? Interested in seeing how fast they move. A comparable building across from us goes up a floor every 2-2.5 weeks.

I assume this is AHD but they have never used that in the application description before.

76.65 metres would probably be too high for that end of the city and it doubles the original building height! There's something wrong with that application me thinks.

What I find strange is the fact they have to lodge a DA to increase the height of the building by the astonishing height of 3cm!

Could the height in that DA been misprinted?

I think you'll find AHD is "Australian Height Datum" or Sea level height. From memory Adelaide sits approx 40m above AHD, so the actual height of this building is still around the 36m mark.
