Demolition of properties on the western side of South Road continues, with much complete around Clovelly Park and Black Forest. The Tonsley Hotel has started to undergo demolition.

With the revised extent of the cut and cover portion of the tunnel that was announced a few months ago, there are a few businesses still operating in buildings that will be demolished.
The project maps seem to indicate that the OTR is the last one that needs to go, although I've also heard that the sexshop and Jaycar are also to be demolished.

The house directly next to the jaycar car park has already commenced demo so I’d assume that jaycar will also go

I'm pretty sure the OTR will stay, the demolition is only happening south of English Avenue.

Seems to have already relocated to the south.

I thought it was going to stay, but according to the interactive map it will get the chop - just.

Will the tunnel near Flinders Tonsley site be widened to 3 lanes each way, and realigned?

Which tunnel? do you mean the underpass underneath tonsley boulevard?

The underpass for Tonsley Boulevard is already three lanes, they merge to two as the expressway trench rises onto the surface.

Yeh, I mean will they make this three lanes both ways? Looks like the underpass will need expanding and realinging?

That underpass is already 3 lanes in each direction.

They merge down to 2 each going North. (Ok technically outside of the underpass).

Where they merge from 3 to 2 on the ramp up now is where the new section will start, another 800m or so of straightline trench before getting to the cut and cover tunnel entrance underneath the new Celtic Rd overpass (the proper bored tunnel doesn't start until roughly where the big self storage place is), it's pretty accurate on the DIT map

I made a mock-up of this intersection based on plans, but can't find it. It should be in this thread somewhere. Basically land to the north-west of the intersection (a strip of reserve and the crash repairer) will be utilised. There will be improvements to the south-west slip lane.
Edit: I misread this. You can see the widening here:
