If communists were building something on North Terrace, it would have an amazingly bold facade with a gigantic colourful mural showing farmers and miners and teachers and soldiers all linked arm in arm exalting the proletariat to march confidently together into the future (or something like that). It would be incredibly kitsch and tacky but definitely not boring. The concrete Kruschevka's were reserved for the outer suburbs where no one would see them.

Haha yep, exactly. The “Socialistmodernism” Instagram is a great follow for the former eastern bloc architecture (if you don’t already).
