I've been holding my breath for months waiting for glass to appear on the upper sections of this building. The black glass in the lower section looks fine but its the upper part that will be make or break...get a move on lads!

Oh my god. Black glass looks so sexy. I do wonder why it isn't used more often?

That first one an exccellent shot Adelarch!
The blue glass will make an immense difference to this - and as said before, a cantilever will greatly reduce a bland/incomplete lower level appearance and add cover as well. More inviting for alfresco experience as well.

I'm starting to get the impression the glass on the upper levels may not have a blue tint and may rather be clear or maybe a light smoke. The blue in the renders could be merely depicting reflection of the sky. I have no real idea though.

I noticed on Saturday that the mounting brackets for the glazing on the upper levels is being intalled. Cladding shouldn't be too far off!

Yes I was actually wondering the same thing. Similarly its hard to tell whether the glass on the lower levels is black or just clear

The lower level glass definitely has a black/smoke tint, if you see it in person.

If all else fails, get the forum's smokers to stand around the base and puff away, so as to add a smoky tint to the new windows.

Great entrance hints at vibrancy and not just a boring box on a plot idea. gives the impression it belongs in the heart of the retail area. Liker otyhers have said, the real glass colour could be clear. Maybe some help on this on first or second page of this thread.

Whoa; second shot there is brilliant! All of those buildings ceased to exist at this time only 2 years ago.

Excellent shots Norman! As Shuz has said the second shot really shows off all the development that has occurred at the southern end of the CBD recently.

Is this development going to have the 'copper' edging to the plates as a final product?
