Unless there's some other core sticking out, this can also be seen driving south along Gallipoli Drive at Regency Park.
As usual, pity it's not taller.
I agree. It's a shame that large floor plates are in vogue, because at 36 500 sqm2, we would have most likely got a 40 level building back in the 80s/90s.
In the second photo there is a strip of darker glass on the 11th level facing the GPO just north of the pod (not easy to see but it does stand out in reality). Not sure what that is about, it looks strange.
Great pics thanks Urban! Not sure if it’s just the lack of curtains but the glass on this building looks a lot nicer than that of Tower 1. This is altogether a sexier building IMO

Yeah, but there is always a silver lining, and that lining in this case is that a massive area of land has now effectively been taken off the board for development for the next 30-40 years at least. That means less space available for new buildings, increasing the pressure to go up.
I ahdn't seen this posted anywhere on these boards and thought I would post it here, very interesting some of the other buildings in this vid. Hopefully they are all going ahead
Nice looking fly-through,Thanks for posting it Christo, and welcome to the Boards.
I'm guessing it's an old one though, because No 1 Victoria Square (SA Water Building) isn't in there. It should be visible at 1:58. Also CC8 doesn't look anywhere near tall enough. Good to see anyway.
I laughed so hard at the 'Golce & Dabbana' and 'Cuggi' signs! Thanks for posting by the way, I've never been huge fan of the overall City Central project, I always though that they could have done a lot more with the sites, but the inside looks great, lets just hope it turns out like that!
It appears that the building will now have a 2 level plant room, bringing its total floor count to 21. I wonder whether this means the building is now also around the 75m mark?
