Yeah, Grenfell Street (and Currie Street) need a massive uplift, but that should be combined with some form of State Govt PT plan.

Glad to see that kerb inlets for rain seem to be becoming standard. Also pleased to see a variety of tree species — too many councils having been planting a monoculture of Callery pears.

Field Street is currently being ripped up and streetscaped with new trees etc. This street has changed a lot over the last few years or so with new buildings and restaurants. Now its basically an extension of Chinatown Moonta St.

Bikeways, plural? ACC can’t even figure out where to build an east-west bikeway, let alone second north-south one! :lol:

when is Pitt St going to reopen? It has been closed since Oct/Nov last year.

Takes them about 6-8 months to redesign a simple 400 metre street.

Every second day it is re-closed. Actually it is only 140m on google maps.
