Anyone know if this has carparking on the lower floors? Being a corner site it would be ideal & also raise the start of the offices to say levels 4/5 so all offices have unobstructed views (and natural light) over the GPO and neighbouring building (with ground still commercial.)

Something like this would have really enhanced the skyline and density. Like others have said "a real missed opportunity".

I've got no problem with the fact that the office tower is only 22 levels ... commercial considerations will dictate the appropriate size of the building.

I also don't have a beef with the fact that the office tower (and its smaller 15 level sibling) are effectively simple rectangular blocks.

What I take issue with are the appalling proportions of the windows and lack of design consideration on the facade. It would only take some simple redesign of the facades or incorporate some interesting sunshading to make these towers look visually appealing. At the moment, they're butt ugly.

I believe there are a few levels of car parking, with access from Post Office Place.

Will the side buildings to the post office be completely gutted and turned into something at least nice?

Does anyone have access to the plans or the like of the building?

There will be ground floor restaurants, cafes and retail. There may be plans earlier in this thread.

I don’t have a problem with the rectangular design, what I do have a problem with is it’s proximity to my lunch space at the Waymouth food court because its renders make me want to throw up.
