Still can't get my head around the brown, it bugs me so much. We were so close to something really good

The brown and the yellow next to it make for an .... interesting combination

I'm not against the brown, nor do I love it. I however don't mind it from being somewhat different.
When the building is in the shade the Brown turns almost black which looks great.

I don't mind it. The building is quite striking from a distance and up close because of its size. It look amazing around sunset when it glows "golden".

It'll be interesting to see how the exterior will be lit. There's a hint on the exterior cladding of some vertical lighting, which will be striking at night if it comes to pass.

It's very Melbourne. Shame about the building next door - maybe it can be painted?

Of course not - I'd just tend to associate something brown with Melbourne, as opposed to Sydney, Brisbane or the Gold Coast.

Typical Adelaide people always seem to complain about something so little like the colour of the building. Let's just all be happy another high rise has appeared in our skyline and will create some hype in the city. It's a good looking building and about time.

Why should we accept mediocrity?
The brown is out of step with the render, the air-conditioning is visible through the grates, and, on the whole, the finishes on this one are looking pretty shithouse.*
Tall doesn't automatically mean attractive.
*granted, yet to see it in person.

Not every building needs to be an architectural masterpiece. I don't think it looks bad, it's just conservative high rise building

It does look better in person, and in particular lighting.

If any of the future residents of this building bought into it because it's exterior renders appealed to them, they're going to be very disappointed with the outcome.
