I believe this is the parcel of land bounded by Main South Rd, Aldinga Beach Rd, How Rd and Quinliven Rd.
Labor also have a policy of aligning Aldinga and Aldinga Beach Roads into a single intersection with Main South Rd as part of the FCA package. This will need some of the "reserved" land.

That's it. Choose one. Faster, or simpler. But we can't have both.

Noticed that some of the smaller train stations received a freshen up before the trains started running on the Gawler line again.

Dudley Park got some new paint, signs, a lot of cleaning and new lighting.
Has made a big difference.

Shame that a lot got tagged within a day of it opening again...

The tagging again needs to be jumped on. Every few years it seems to get out of hand, as whoever is responsible for monitoring and apprehending the grafiti gangs loses interest- or funding or whatever and it goes into the too hard basket. Left unattended what seems like a victimless crime leads to other crime, and a lack of respect for public property and the feeling that the system in general is unsafe for regular patrons. This problem is by no means confined to Adelaide, but there does seem to be an increase in lack of respect in general in the public domain.

Nurlutta got the same treatment too, though weirdly it's now missed on the voice announcements on board the trains.

Just saw a 4000 Class get evacuated at Mawson Lakes. Now it's just sitting there. Must be mechanical problems.

Was an accident at North Adelaide station. Maybe putting people back on buses while the track is blocked.

3103 met a cyclist. :( 😞

Fuck, I ride over that pedestrian crossing every day. They've set it up for those new active crossings with the gates and siren, but they're still not actually working. It would be easy to think it's safe to cross currently when it's not (especially if the train is outbound at night, as you don't really see them coming around the bend until they're quite close to the crossing.)

Cyclist might’ve also fallen into the trap of getting used to the train line being closed and didn’t bother stopping to look this time.

There was, but not maintained. Most of the signs have fallen off, and the black plastic and tape around the lights has been destroyed by the weather.

The infrastructure for that active crossing has been set up ready to go for about 4 years now. Are they ever going to get around to completing it?

Apparently an investigation is underway to work out if there are "deficiencies" with the rail crossing (From the InDaily/10 news report). I'd say, "not finished" is a pretty big deficiency.
