Here's something that popped up from a poster on a completely different forum (Disney related lol). He unearthed this from his father's private collection. He didn't know exactly what it was, other than the result of Los Angeles closing down their very established street trolley network. But another poster identified it as the old trolleys waiting down in an LA dock to be shipped to Japan to become Toyotas, circa 1959.

I like the irony that the metal was going to create more cars, the reason for the system's shutdown. Shame that a similar thing happened here, except we kept one line (Glenelg).
