Core is at level 2 and the jumpform is now being assembled. Columns for level 1 being poured... up we go now.

Some of the Jacarandas planted here will need to be replaced. Quite a few have died.

Could be transplant shock too. It's pretty common in transplanting mature trees that they go into shock and lose their leaves. They're not actually dead, and recover in time. Usually!

Best time to plant is in winter. Less chance of shock because the plants are dormant.

Those sculptures don't look half bad in person in the plaza. I think once the plaza is done and opened most will be happy with it, would be hard not to considering what was there previously.
