Without being too negative, I can’t help but think that these student buildings won’t be too popular.
Living in one of these buildings must be a nightmare in terms of COVID-19.

Why would they be any worse than other apartment buildings? From what I can see, four (six?) people share a kitchen and loungeroom, but each has their own bedroom and bathroom. The entire building has common lift services.

That could be better than an apartment building full of three-bedroom units occupied by four-person familes with one or two bathrooms, especially if the ventilation was designed with infection control in mind.
