Federal election 2022
Re: Federal election 2022
Looking at the distribution of preferences documents for the SA election, there are surprising flows of preferences between Greens and PHON candidates (in either direction) before going to the major parties.
Considering that in most seats, these were ideological extremes on either side. People voting them both above either major party are clearly voting for change and independence, not ideology.

Re: Federal election 2022
It's a feature of preferences, especially if there are many candidates.
If you really loathe major parties, you might vote candidate A, then B, then C, D, E, F, then Major Party (ALP or Coalition). So, your preferences go A through F before finally ending up at a major party.
So, it's quite likely that on the way, you might vote One Nation, B, C, D, E, Green, Coalition. Your vote ends up counting for the Coalition, but on the way your preference moved from ON to Green. Vice versa, of course, and it also depends on who gets more votes too.
End point being that preferences will flow all sorts of odd ways.
Re: Federal election 2022
Sorry for this long post, but this are One Nations policies. You keep calling them crazy, and as I saw with two of their other policies you said were crazy, it turns out they weren't that crazy so thought I'd look at the rest of their policies and see just how crazy or batshit they are. Turns out, they aren't that crazy, and their policies seem very reasonable.
Might make you angry, if you give a shit about your country, but as we know most these days especially the younger generations don't give a shit. As long as they've got their new iphone and whatever bullshit latest craze they can take part in.
Like I keep saying, we should be supporting our own first and foremost, not foreigners, especially with the high unemployment particularly youth unemployment. Of course the usual leftist and globalist created excuses of "[insert nationality here] people dont want to work/do the jobs" is the response.
Most wouldn't even know how much we are paying to resettle people in Australia. What our taxes are used to pay for is absolutely outrageous when Australian citizens aren't even afforded such things courtesy of the governments and our taxes.
We have tonnes of off shore oil and gas reserves, as well as tonnes of onshore oil reserves.
Australia’s abundant natural resources should be for the prosperity of our own citizens instead of our global competitors.
Anyone who doesn't support this is, needs their head examined.
I don't see what's bat shit crazy about protecting our national interests, including upholding OUR constitution.
It should be about the children, not the ex's battling it out and using the kids as a means to punish each other.
Child support payment should be for that, the child.
The money saved from resettling fake refugees and economic opportunists who come here on bullshit visas that shouldn't exist, could go towards actually supporting our own citizens.
About bloody time.
Not to benefit me or you, like some people might think, but to benefit foreigners. The food is shipped overseas, not to our supermarkets and butchers.
It's actually funny that some people think that we should allow all foreign investment unchecked, because apparently its good for us and we will die without it or some such bullshit.
But go try do the same shit these foreign corporations often backed by their governments and their money, in their countries. See how far you get. You wont get very far is the short answer.
But we should keep allowing the selling of our nation.
[qoute]Foreign Ownership
One Nation will pursue urgent reform to Australia’s foreign investment rules by legislating a clear definition of ‘National Interest' based on national security, competition, tax, a character test, and any other impacts to Australia. Essential services including power, water, telecommunications, roadways, and ports would be off-limits to foreign investors. With a crucial shortage of housing stock in Australia, we must stop the sale of property to non-residents and non-citizens.[/quote]
Again this is one thing you pointed out that you were wrong about.
This isn't bat shit crazy, this is sensible and reasonable.
There's many countries you can't go buy a house in as a foreigner. Even if you became a citizen of some countries, they still wont allow you to own any property because you're not born there.
Why should we continue to allow foreigners with no allegiance to Australia, particularly Chinese nationals who are members of the CCP and are coming here to buy up property with CCP money (that's a fact, and you can find that out your self if you don't believe me), to buy into our property market?
Median house price in Adelaide is now $750,000.
If we had a coast guard, those shipments of cocaine that washed up on our west coast could have been intercepted. Maybe they never would have tried if we had a coast guard actively patrolling our waters.
Anyone who supports this sort of rubbish, is in fact the batshit crazy one.
Good on One Nation for standing up against this bullshit.
Apparently, Nicola Spurier couldn't answer what medical advice they were acting on. All they could provide, was meeting documents. No medical advice for a lot of what they imposed on us.
Our chief police officer couldn't recall a lot as well in the witness stand. Interesting for someone in the top seat of a profession that is all about integrity.
There's a lot to answer for.
There's big money to be made, especially in going green.
How much of the environment needs to be destroyed for us to have the technologies to go green? They never show that part of the equation because it doesn't suit the narrative.
The political bullshit and spin about "climate emergency" and other over the top dramatized bs nonsense should stop.
Instead the focus should be on going green because it makes sense, it's a logical step in our technological evolution.
The narrative should be we are moving towards more efficient and cleaner forms of transportation for example.
but it's kind of hard to take any of it seriously (unless you're a batshit crazy radical leftist pushing a globalist agenda without knowing it lol), when those at the top of the narrative/agenda are flying around in private jets and live in big fuckoff mansions and so on.
So personally, after having glanced at One Nations policies, I don't see what's bat shit crazy
What I see is a party that wants to prioritize our national interests first and foremost.
Considering the total fuck up our governments have made of water resources, people should have a quick look at the Australian Constitution, and see what it says about water particularly farming.Water
Politicians have failed to construct dams and expand our nation's water security for our ever-increasing population. Instead, they have privatised Australia’s water, with more than 20% sold to foreign investors, while withholding the records of those who trade in this precious commodity. Enough is enough. One Nation will build new water infrastructure projects, including dams and increase the supply to Australian farmers and our growing nation. We will also legislate the full disclosure of water ownership and ban the sale of water to foreign investors.
Might make you angry, if you give a shit about your country, but as we know most these days especially the younger generations don't give a shit. As long as they've got their new iphone and whatever bullshit latest craze they can take part in.
Most governments keep talking about skills shortages. Then they import foreigners supposedly "skilled" to do the jobs.Australian Jobs and Infrastructure
One Nation supports jobs for Australians first and foremost. In an effort to bolster homegrown tradesmen and women, One Nation will increase its national apprenticeship scheme whereby first-year apprentices receive a 75% wage subsidy, followed by 50% the second year, and finally 25% in their third year. The release of this program in 2019 was taken up within three weeks by regional businesses. The second rollout of the program was again swiftly welcomed. A third installment of this strategy would be combined with nation-building infrastructure projects including water, rail, roads, and energy. One Nation does not support casualisation of the workforce and instead embraces full-time jobs.
Like I keep saying, we should be supporting our own first and foremost, not foreigners, especially with the high unemployment particularly youth unemployment. Of course the usual leftist and globalist created excuses of "[insert nationality here] people dont want to work/do the jobs" is the response.
100%. Particularly pulling out of globalist treaties.Refugees
One Nation favours Australians first and foremost. We believe in reducing the refugee intake for five years in an effort to redirect critical funding to Australian services. The cost to Australian taxpayers to hold each asylum seeker or refugee on Nauru has escalated to $358,646 per month — or $4.3 million a year. One Nation supports the withdrawal of Australia from the outdated United Nations 1951 Refugee Convention.
Most wouldn't even know how much we are paying to resettle people in Australia. What our taxes are used to pay for is absolutely outrageous when Australian citizens aren't even afforded such things courtesy of the governments and our taxes.
Labor or Liberal proposing to restore the 90 day fuel supply? They're the ones who dwindled it away.Affordable Energy and Cost of Living
One Nation will apply a national plan that guarantees low-cost, reliable, dispatchable power by building new low-emission coal-fired power stations. We will restore Australia’s essential 90-day fuel security policy with on-shore oil reserves and the capacity to refine fuels for domestic supply. Australia’s abundant natural resources should be for the prosperity of our own citizens instead of our global competitors. One Nation supports the investigation of nuclear power in Australia. We strongly oppose the waste of multi-billion dollar government subsidy schemes offered to foreign-owned solar and wind projects.
We have tonnes of off shore oil and gas reserves, as well as tonnes of onshore oil reserves.
Australia’s abundant natural resources should be for the prosperity of our own citizens instead of our global competitors.
Anyone who doesn't support this is, needs their head examined.
This brings us back to one of your earlier points when you painted them as bat shit crazy.World Organisations And Trade Agreements
The Australian Constitution must be upheld at all times and not undermined by United Nations forums and its 193 member states. One Nation does not support the World Economic Forum’s 'Great Reset'.
Free Trade Agreements that function against the best interest of Australians must also be scrapped. Import tariffs should be reimplemented on select countries to protect Australia's remaining industry and manufacturing while safeguarding homegrown jobs and wage levels.
I don't see what's bat shit crazy about protecting our national interests, including upholding OUR constitution.
Sounds like a good idea, but may or may not work out.Citizen Initiated Referenda
One Nation will push for the introduction of a Citizens Initiated Referenda, enabling Australian citizens to put forward legislation or a referendum question without waiting for politicians to listen and act.
100%.Family Law and Child Support
One Nation supports the rights of a parent, as much as the rights of a child. Children have a right to have both parents involved in their life if the mother and father are deemed to be fit and able. We also support the rights of grandparents when family relationships sour. One Nation strongly supports the implementation of a fairer child support system whereby the children are financially supported, not the ex-partner. It is imperative that Australia’s Family Law system is made fairer to discourage expensive, adversarial court action.
It should be about the children, not the ex's battling it out and using the kids as a means to punish each other.
Child support payment should be for that, the child.
Should be even more.Pensioners
One Nation will advocate for a $100 a week rise under the Work Bonus scheme that would allow pensioners to earn up to $13,000 a year without reducing their pension (Work Bonus Scheme is currently $7,800 p.a.). We believe that you must have lived and worked in Australia for at least 15 years before accessing pension entitlements. One Nation opposes the increase to the age of entitlement to 70 years of age.
The money saved from resettling fake refugees and economic opportunists who come here on bullshit visas that shouldn't exist, could go towards actually supporting our own citizens.
About bloody time.
Too much of our farmland has been sold off.Farming
More than 53 million hectares of prime agricultural land is held by foreign interests. This equates to 14% of Australia’s total 372 million hectares of agricultural land. One Nation will ban any further sale of freehold farmland to foreign investors and limit the sale of leasehold farmland to a tenure of 25 years. One Nation will also reimplement Foreign Investment Review Board applications on all Agricultural Land from expiring Free Trade Agreements. We strongly support the re-establishment of a Federal Government backed rural lending fund to safeguard Australian farmers throughout drought and other natural weather events.
Not to benefit me or you, like some people might think, but to benefit foreigners. The food is shipped overseas, not to our supermarkets and butchers.
It's actually funny that some people think that we should allow all foreign investment unchecked, because apparently its good for us and we will die without it or some such bullshit.

Median house price in Adelaide is now $750,000.
School should be about education, not political indoctrination of young impressionable minds.Education
Despite a $24.8 billion budget for state education services, Australia continues to rank lower than comparable high- and middle-income countries in achieving quality education outcomes. One Nation will restore critical thinking in the classroom and reinstate the cornerstone of education with reading, writing, arithmetic, and discipline. There should be no room for Western, white, gender, guilt shaming in any classroom and instead children should be taught the benefits of a merit-based, free-thinking society.
Spot on.Immigration
Zero-net immigration throughout COVID illustrated how putting the brakes on migration reduced congestion on our roads and allowed Government services to focus on Australians. One Nation will extend its zero-net migration policy and focus on permitting only highly skilled migrants from culturally cohesive countries into Australia. Migrants must demonstrate a sound level of English for assimilation purposes. Education courses in Australian universities should not be used as a backdoor to immigrate to Australia.
Just legalize it already. Let people grow it, sell it, consume it. Tax it, like many states in America already do. Takes away the income of some elements of organized crime.Medical Cannabis
Whole plant medicinal cannabis continues to act as a natural, proven alternative for chronic pain relief and other serious health symptoms experienced by Australians. One Nation remains at the forefront of advocacy within the federal parliament and will continue our push to bring the cost of access down.
Yep, not enough is done because there aren't enough resources on our ports of entry.Illicit Drugs Epidemic
Australia continues to rank a shameful second for the use of illicit drugs according to the latest National Wastewater Drug Monitoring Program conducted by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission. Sadly Customs inspect just over 1% of the more than 8 million shipping containers that enter Australian ports annually. One Nation will fund the increase of scanning and inspection of containers through the seizure of assets and money from the proceeds of drug crimes. One Nation will also establish a Federal Police Drug Bus in each state that will provide an educational roadshow for parents and students.
If we had a coast guard, those shipments of cocaine that washed up on our west coast could have been intercepted. Maybe they never would have tried if we had a coast guard actively patrolling our waters.
Stop the Rorts
Australia is by and large a very generous nation with government-paid safeguard services for the sick, unemployed, aged, and disabled. For services of this nature to continue, we must prevent them from being rorted.
One Nation will push for an identification photo to be displayed on Medicare cards to positively identify users and reduce the number of fraudulent claims made by non-Australian citizens.
We will stop the use of NDIS funding to pay for sex worker services. (A Federal Court ruling permits the use of taxpayers money for sex workers under the NDIS scheme.)
And One Nation will set the term of unemployment benefits to three years in any given five-year period to end long-term unemployment payments to those under the age of 50.
Multinational Taxation
One Nation will oppose any increase in the GST as it will heavily impact on Australia’s standard of living and further burden those on the pension and low incomes. We will maintain our opposition to the reintroduction of death duties and pursue a tax regime that ensures multi-national businesses pay their fair share of tax while operating within Australia.
Firearms Ownership
One Nation supports responsible gun ownership and will preserve the current laws which allow law abiding citizens access to firearms, whether it be for work, farming or sports-related activities. We do not believe that further stringent measures or regulations are required regarding licensing. One Nation calls for stricter border security and tougher sentencing for gun crimes and traffickers.
Where's the batshit crazy?Health
Australia’s health system was beyond capacity prior to COVID-19 and evidently inadequate in regional parts of the nation. One Nation recognises the need to bolster the number of regional doctors, nurses, and other critical health professionals. In an effort to encourage better regional medical services, One Nation will introduce three-year contracts for newly qualified medical professionals and in return pay their HECS-HELP loans in full.
In some parts of America, they're allowing "abortion" after birth. That's not "abortion", that's state sponsored murder.Pro-Life
Pauline Hanson’s One Nation acknowledges the scientific fact that a human being’s life begins in the womb.
We were horrified when State Governments passed legislation which legalised abortion up until birth for any reason. This law is one of the most extreme in the western world.
One Nation will seek every opportunity to roll back brutal and extreme abortion law so that both unborn babies and pregnant women will have a level of legal and medical protection once again.
One Nation will:
Reduce the gestational limit for abortions - Current legislation in some states allows the abortion of an unborn child up until the day of birth.
Ban sex-selective abortion - Sex-selective abortion is the practice of terminating a pregnancy based upon the predicted sex of a child. The selective abortion of female fetuses is most common where male children are valued over females.
Implement counselling and other safeguards - Women who may be considering an abortion must be provided counselling and compassionate assistance.
Medical care for babies born alive during an abortion - Neonatal care must be provided to babies born alive during an abortion, as would be given to any other child born at the same stage of pregnancy and in the same medical condition.
Anaesthetised abortion - Current procedures across Australia only offer the mother anaesthetic when performing a surgical abortion.
Restore Doctor’s Rights - Reinstitute a doctor’s full right to a full conscientious objection to abortion.
Ban organ harvesting - Prevent the use of aborted baby organs.
Mandate data reporting - Current legislation fails to report abortion rates in some states.
Anyone who supports this sort of rubbish, is in fact the batshit crazy one.
Good on One Nation for standing up against this bullshit.
Yep, we definitely need answers on a lot of what's been going on.COVID-19 Policy
One Nation opposes COVID-19 vaccine mandates on Australian citizens.
One Nation will continue its push for a Royal Commission into the management of the COVID-19 pandemic by Australian governments.
While we acknowledge that people have died from COVID, there is a noteworthy difference between 'died of’, versus 'died with’. It is critical that an honest and thorough examination of how Federal, State, and Territory governments managed the pandemic is implemented by the parliament.
We need a Royal Commission not to lay blame or find scapegoats—because the buck will always stop with the Prime Minister and State and Territory leaders as it must in a representative democracy—but primarily to learn which pandemic measures worked and which didn’t, so that we are much better prepared for the next pandemic.
Those who fail to learn from the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them.
A Royal Commission of Inquiry will have the necessary power to compel the expert health advice Australian governments relied upon to justify and implement pandemic measures—much of this advice has been hidden from the Australian people. We need a Royal Commission because this inquiry must be completely transparent to the Australian public.
The Australian people deserve a comprehensive account of the decisions made by their governments to manage the COVID-19 pandemic.
Apparently, Nicola Spurier couldn't answer what medical advice they were acting on. All they could provide, was meeting documents. No medical advice for a lot of what they imposed on us.

There's a lot to answer for.
The problem with climate change, is it's a topic that's been hijacked by those wanting to push an agenda, a narrative.Climate
One Nation believes Australia should withdraw from the United Nations Paris Agreement signed in 2016.
Australia has committed to the deepest and most savage carbon emission cuts in the world on a per person basis. This commitment is predicted to slow the Australian economy with enormous job losses. In our view, this economic suicide cannot be justified on the evidence put forward by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
We know that the majority of people believe in man-made global warming caused by carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases. This belief is reinforced by media coverage of events like forest fires and droughts, but government policy needs to rest on the evidence and there is a growing concern about the evidence on which the claims of man-made global warming rests.
It is just too easy to allow our memories, often unreliable, to accept the often repeated claims that it has never been hotter. Given the economic costs, we believe we need to listen to the evidence.
It is the evidence we should take regard of when making policy. The history of science is that it’s the evidence that counts.
We have confidence in evidence when the experiment can be repeated and the same results are achieved.
We have confidence in science when the evidence is consistent with the theory and that theory predicts events in the future.
Scientists predicted global warming would lead to extremes of weather, which would be more intense and more frequent, but despite media reports extreme weather events were more common prior to 1960 than at any time since.
Climate science suffers from problems not found in other areas. Firstly, there are no accurate records for past temperature and it is difficult to reconstruct those temperatures from proxies. Secondly, it is difficult to arrive at a single temperature for the earth in the past and a single temperature for the earth now, so that the two temperatures can be compared and in that way, we can say there is a pattern of warming not seen before the greenhouse gases increased in the atmosphere.
Central to both these problems is the fact that there is no one place to take the earth’s temperature, but rather an infinite number of places ranging from the equator to the poles. Any attempt to add temperature measurements together creates uncertainty because the average varies depending on how many temperatures are collected in cold places and how many in hot places.
If there is global warming, then we say it should be reflected in a large number of places in different climate zones but in Australia that appears not to be the case.
The longest-running weather collection station in Australia, known as the Nobby’s Weather Station at Newcastle, has shown no pattern of warming since temperature records were collected in 1862. The hottest mean average temperatures at Nobby’s were before 1900 and the highest maximums before 1890.
There are other historical records for temperature kept by telegraph operators on the Overland Telegraph Service from the mid-1800s. They show temperatures were higher and heat waves were longer in duration before 1900.
The Australian Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) was established in 1906 and its records start in 1910, but it does not use earlier temperature records.
The IPCC uses a homogenized data set known as HadCrut4, which is a compiled by the Hadley Centre of the UK Met Office and the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at the University of East Anglia.
The 2009 Climategate emails from the CRU at the University of East Anglia reveal the problems with the methods used by climate scientists to determine global temperatures. These emails show how difficult it is to recreate past temperatures from tree rings, lake sediment cores, bubbles of air caught in ice cores and other proxies for past temperature.
It is critical these reconstructed past temperatures are right, because any claim of global warming rests on evidence that temperatures were lower in the period before 1850 when industrialisation started to increase the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
Climate scientists acknowledge that the earth’s climate has changed in the past including when large parts of the world were covered in ice. The medieval warm period (950-1200) was following by colder and warmer periods.
It is generally agreed that natural events caused these temperature changes. These natural events include volcanic eruptions, and progressive changes in the earth’s tilt, the earth’s path around the sun and the wobble effect of the earth spinning on its axis.
It was only in 2015 that evidence was found of a connection between the earth’s tilt (that shifts through a 41,000 year cycle between 21.5 degrees and 24.5 degrees) and the movement of the low-pressure band of clouds (that is the earth’s largest source of heat and moisture- the Intertropical Convergence Zone). This research suggests severe droughts and severe flooding can be caused by changes in the earth’s tilt.
It is clear to us that climate research needs to continue, but after thirty years of work by the IPCC there is insufficient evidence of global warming of the kind claimed by the IPCC and there is insufficient evidence of the climate catastrophes predicted.
We are the only political party to question climate science. One Nation Senators have taken every opportunity to use the Senate Estimates cycle, to understand the position of government advisers on climate science like CSIRO.

Re: Federal election 2022
Having a look at United Australia Party's policies...
Haven't seen these anywhere before.
Not sure how they'd be able to force private banks to keep their rates at 3%.
Would surely destroy confidence in our banking system with that type of government intervention.
They should be paying a lot more then they do.
Petrol in oil rich Arab countries is well below a dollar a litre. Yet what are we paying for gas in this country? People need to wake up.
How are they going to bring back the money private funds have invested? More government intervention?
The lockdowns were ridiculous. Locking down healthy people is one of the most absurd things in our life times. I'm sure there's people who actually believe it saved their life still lol.
They are 100% correct on the constitution part of this policy.
Even the attempt by our former state government to force interstate truckies to be tested at the border before being allowed in to SA would have been a violation of the constitution in regards to trade/commerce.
New data out of the US and Europe shows the jabbed are 30 times more likely to catch it, the natural immune 30 times less likely.
My medical records/history, vaccination status, is nobodies business.
And if it was such a severe pandemic, to limit the use of treatments is criminal imho.
Some of those treatments, that have been in use for decades and are proven to be safe for human use, would have saved lives here.
The state should have been the one to setup a national nuclear waste dump, so the state takes all the financial benefits from it.
We should have the whole nuclear energy industry setup here. Processing and everything.
Had we had a nuclear industry setup, or been in the process of, perhaps our federal government would have chosen a nuclear powered submarine from the get go, instead of wasting billions of dollars and many years flip flopping between options. South Australia would have been the beneficiary again.
They were all completely and utterly anti-Trump. They used their platforms, used by billions, to censor Trump, his campaign, his supporters. That is political interference.
We live in a democracy here in Australia, that sort of rubbish shouldn't be allowed.
If a particular candidate is unfit for the top job, that will be exposed by open debate, not by censorship and interference in the election/political process.
I don't see what's batshit crazy here.
But a lot of these freedoms have already been eroded and for some, completely abolished.
Under the guise of tackling the "bikie" problem, they are not allowed to wear particular clothes, they are not allowed to associate or be in the presence of certain people.
Is UAP proposing rolling these things back?
Has anyone had a good look at the laws passed for the bikies, are they applicable only to the "outlaw" motorcycle clubs or can they also be applied to others?
Right now theres calls to treat the African street gangs the same as the bikies, and hit them with the same tough laws. Perhaps the bikie laws aren't just applicable to bikies only, but to whomever the government or policy decide they want to apply them to, in this case African street gangs.
Certainly something to be looked at, as it does go against UN/globalist policies.
All in all, One Nation has better policies then UAP.
I don't see the bat shit crazy in either parties policies.
Maybe some of their policies aren't ideal, or could do with some polish, but to write off both parties as bat shit crazy, is in fact bat shit crazy.
You would either have to be ignorant and totally believing on MSM and the major parties, or pushing the agenda of a major party, that is to discredit a credible threat to their monopoly on governance in this country, as both UAP an PHON are running candidates in every seat this election.
I'd like to see the stats on 4% interest rate/60% lose their homes etc.A maximum of 3% interest on home loans to save Australian homeownership
Liberal and Labor’s trillion dollars of debt ($1,000,000,000,000 – a million million) will increase home loan rates to 4% in two years and to over 6% in three years.
At 4%, over 60% of Australians will default on their mortgages and will lose their homes. At 6% or more over 80% of Australians will lose their homes.
The real estate market will then collapse and foreign buyers will flood our real estate market as they will have the money to buy up our properties. We have to stop Australians from losing their homes!
The United Australia Party will introduce a maximum interest rate for all home loans of 3% per annum for the next five years to save Australian homeownership.
Haven't seen these anywhere before.
Not sure how they'd be able to force private banks to keep their rates at 3%.
Would surely destroy confidence in our banking system with that type of government intervention.
Well it is true we as a nation are short changed, ripped off, by the resource companies.Repaying our National Debt with our resources
Both Liberal and Labor fail to address the trillion dollars of national debt, but not the United Australia Party.
We plan to address it head-on and save your family from its impact.
Australia supplies over 80% of all iron ore to the Asian manufacturing market, where tens of trillions of dollars
are invested in manufacturing in China, Japan, Korea and the rest of Asia.
Asia achieves its position in world trade by using Australian iron ore. Asian economies and industry have no alternative. In the 1960s, Australia had an export license on the export of iron ore. The United Australia Party will introduce a 15% export license on the export of all Australian iron ore.
The export license receipts will be isolated for the sole purpose of repaying our national debt which will relieve every Australian from that burden and set up our future.
We will do this so Australia can be all it can be without the financial destruction the Labor and Liberal parties have imposed on our country.

Petrol in oil rich Arab countries is well below a dollar a litre. Yet what are we paying for gas in this country? People need to wake up.
Save Australia. How?Bring Australian super investments home
Australia has over one trillion dollars of superannuation invested overseas.
Just like when John Curtin in World War 2 brought the troops back to save Australia, the United Australia Party will bring back a trillion dollars of Australian super back to Australia, to save Australia.
How are they going to bring back the money private funds have invested? More government intervention?
Well can't really argue here.End Lockdowns
Lockdowns destroy businesses, jobs and the Australian standard of living. Lockdowns cause untold damage to both physical and mental health, and lockdowns cause more harm to society than any marginal benefits they may bring.
The UAP policy is to open the economy, open the borders and provide encouragement, confidence and incentives for businesses, especially small business to thrive.
Free trade between the states and free movement of people must be reinstated. Section 92 of the Australian Constitution provides for the “absolutely free” movement of people across state borders. Australian troops must not be used to assist power-drunk State Premiers in violating our Constitution.
The Federal Government must ensure that the Constitutional rights of all Australians are protected by exercising their federal jurisdiction.
Yep, jabbed or not, you still catch it still pass it on. No difference. No Domestic Vaccine Passports
The latest international data and science evidences that so-called “fully vaccinated people” can still become infected and still likely to pass the virus on to others.
Therefore ‘vaccine passports’ are premised on a false assumption; they are misleading and serve no purpose other than to deny people their normal human rights.
They will be divisive for all Australians, cause social problems (as seen in Europe), and have the potential to worsen an already growing mental health epidemic in our country, which will have tragic consequences for many Australians.
It is undemocratic and wrong to deny any Australian their constitutional rights and freedoms because they choose not to take part in a vaccination program for personal or medical reasons.
The United Australia Party will fight to ensure vaccine passports are banned in Australia. Where they are introduced, we will challenge their validity in the High Court on behalf of the Australian people.
New data out of the US and Europe shows the jabbed are 30 times more likely to catch it, the natural immune 30 times less likely.
Cant really argue with this and call it batshit crazy.Respect the Sanctity of Doctor-Patient Relationship
The United Australia Party believes in the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship and the privacy of your medical or health information.
Alternative treatments to COVID-19 (including anti-virals) that have shown extraordinary success where administered in many overseas countries, must be included in the treatment options and available for all Australians.
Medical treatments should not be mandated from on high by government chief health officers who have not seen or examined the patients for whom they are mandating particular or a narrow range of treatments.
My medical records/history, vaccination status, is nobodies business.
And if it was such a severe pandemic, to limit the use of treatments is criminal imho.
Some of those treatments, that have been in use for decades and are proven to be safe for human use, would have saved lives here.
I believe state governments in particular have been using their "emergency management" acts, but do state laws take precedence over federal law and the constitution?Abolish National Cabinet
Since federation, the Australian Federal Government Cabinet has been comprised from Federal Members of Parliament, voted for and elected by the Australian people.
The current Morrison Government has imposed this unconstitutional so-called ‘National Cabinet’ that has no legal basis.
The United Australia Party believes this so-called ‘National Cabinet’ should be abolished as soon as possible, with traditional government and freedom restored to the Australian people.
I agree we should be using nuclear power, having a nuclear industry is something I agree with and think we definitely need here in South Australia.End Australia’s Energy Crisis
Australia has the world’s largest deposits of uranium, however while we export uranium to other nations for them to take advantage of, we ban its use in Australia for electricity generation.
The government should be proactive in establishing research into new nuclear technology to help solve Australia’s energy problems.
China, Europe and the United States all benefit from nuclear power. Australia should benefit from our own resources and Australian industries should be benefitting from cheap power so they can compete internationally.
I agree. But this policy is basically about submarines. There's no substance to strengthening the ADF besides talking about submarines.Strengthen Australia’s Defence
Australia’s defence budget must be used to defend the nation, and not used for political expediency or to achieve politically correct outcomes.
We called for the submarine contract with France to be abandoned months before the Federal Government decided to act. It is yet another United Australia Party policy that has been adopted at federal level.
Submarines should be coordinated with and purchased from the United States of America, where highly effective, cheaper nuclear-powered submarines can be acquired and integrated with the forces of our allies during times of conflict or war.
Australia must ensure our national submarine fleet is competitive with the nuclear submarines of our northern neighbours.
Let's look at Americas election and the role facebook, twitter played.Protecting Free Speech from Foreign Tech Giants
Foreign tech giants that operate as platforms (not publishers) such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter should not be able to censor Australian political debate.
The United Australia Party will seek to implement laws preventing this foreign interference in Australian politics and our elections.
Ok.Protect Australian Values
The United Australia Party stands to protect the values that have been built and developed in this country since federation.
We believe in the most basic freedoms of parliamentary democracy – freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom from fear, and freedom of association.
This includes respect for our Constitution and the rule of law, which underpins our democratic society and protects the rights, freedoms and liberties of every Australian citizen.
I don't know if this alone will entice more people to move out of the cities and to regional communities.Zonal Taxation for Regional Communities
Our regional communities are the backbone of the nation and the United Australia Party is committed to stimulating economic growth in rural areas.
Our cities are bursting at the seams. We face a future of heavy congestion, serious housing affordability issues and mounting cost of living pressures.
By providing a 20% tax concession incentive to people living more than 200kms from a capital city, we can decentralise Australia and encourage people to move to or settle in regional areas.
Certainly something to be looked at, as it does go against UN/globalist policies.
How much would Clive benefit financially from this as a national policy?Process Australian Minerals at Home
We can create thousands of jobs and turbo-charge our exports by processing our mineral resources in Australia, leading to enormous revenue injections and better schools and hospitals.
Australia is failing to maximise revenue from its prized mineral resources by continuing to send unprocessed ores overseas. The United Australia Party’s downstream processing policy will see more stages of the mining process happen on Australian soil rather than offshore, resulting in much higher returns, along with stimulants for both economic growth and job creation.
We can use Australia’s mineral resources to kick-start our economy by setting up downstream processing in the states such as South Australia and Victoria that aren’t resource-rich.

They establishment are that worried about people like Nick Xenophon and him making a come back to federal politics, he's being attacked over his parliamentary pension (that they too receive), because he had another job.
In this instance, they're complaining that he did legal work for Huawei in Australia.
$88,000 a year pension.
Hypocritical much?
How many former federal politicians, on parliamentary pensions that the rest of us can only dream of getting when we're pension age (that those same politicians want to raise the pension/retirement age mind you for the rest of us, not them), go on to work in lobbying firms for specific industries that they had connections to while in office?
Not that I disagree with banning Huawei from our telecommunications infrastructure, and not that I'll be voting for him in the senate, but this just highlights the hypocrisy and double standards in Canberra, and how they continue to take everyday Australians for fools. And why shouldn't they keep playing you for fools, you keep voting for them.

Re: Federal election 2022
I have already explained why ON financial and tariff ideas are batshit crazy. Either you understand it or not. They don't work.
Next, the point in the wall of words about our constitution. The Constitution specifically gives the Federal Government the right and duty to negotiate treaties with foreign governments. That's a fact. Now treaties are, by their very nature, give and take, especially trade treaties. You, or Pauline might not like those agreements, but to say that the Government can't or shouldn't negotiate treaties is wrong. Then to say that somehow they are against the Constitution when it is in the Constitution that they can negotiate treaties is literally cray cray. Further, if any of those treaties violate the Constitution, they can be struck out by the High Court. Pauline could, if she were telling the truth challenge anything unconstitutional. She doesn't, because either she is lying, or she is crazy. In the first case, that makes her just like the rest of them...just telling you what her focus groups say you want to hear. Or, she's batshit crazy.
Either way, don't vote for her.
Vote for independents who share your values. Or Pauline if you wish to vote for more of the same.

Re: Federal election 2022
No you haven't.
You just keep repeating that they are bat shit crazy because their policies are bad.
I just posted their policies as stated on their web site.
What, in each policy, is bat shit crazy and will wreck the economy? Can you pin point for everyone reading what you think will wreck the economy and is bat shit crazy?
Because on the face of it, their policies seem pretty reasonable.
Many may not agree with their immigration/refugee policies, but they aren't bat shit crazy like you proclaim.
What are you talking about, I never said otherwise.Next, the point in the wall of words about our constitution. The Constitution specifically gives the Federal Government the right and duty to negotiate treaties with foreign governments. That's a fact.
I get it, you need to prove desperately that One Nation is bat shit crazy and nobody should vote for them.
I looked at their policies, since you say they are bat shit crazy, and posted them. None of their policies are bat shit crazy despite you being an alarmist over One Nation.
Where in that post did it say the government can't negotiate treaties? Now treaties are, by their very nature, give and take, especially trade treaties. You, or Pauline might not like those agreements, but to say that the Government can't or shouldn't negotiate treaties is wrong.
Can you point out the exact part of that post that says that? Then to say that somehow they are against the Constitution when it is in the Constitution that they can negotiate treaties is literally cray cray. Further, if any of those treaties violate the Constitution, they can be struck out by the High Court. Pauline could, if she were telling the truth challenge anything unconstitutional. She doesn't, because either she is lying, or she is crazy. In the first case, that makes her just like the rest of them...just telling you what her focus groups say you want to hear. Or, she's batshit crazy.
So because you think One Nation is bat shit crazy, even though you can't prove they are bat shit crazy and their policies are actually on face value, very reasonable, you're telling people not to vote for One Nation because you think they are bat shit crazy.Either way, don't vote for her.
So a vote for One Nation is a vote for more of the same? Yeh, ok.Vote for independents who share your values. Or Pauline if you wish to vote for more of the same.
There's quite a big difference between One Nations policies and the major parties.
But you want to convince people to vote for Independents, instead of One Nation or anyone else they're thinking of voting for instead of the major parties (one of which you surely support).
So your advice is, vote for Independents, who will give their vote and support to one of the major parties, so in essence we end up with "more of the same" in Labor/Greens and Liberal/National......

UAP and ON certainly would be worse than Liberal or Labor. They are literally full of crazies. Your list of problems is real, but electing batshit crazy lunatics isn't going to address that. However, getting a few extra independents into formerly safe major party electorates would make the major parties take notice.
Can you list their policies and detail the bat shit crazy in them?
Independents? That isn't going to cut it.
They are bought off by either of the major parties and whatever "stance" they had is compromised in favour of a promise from whatever major party, that never materializes just like their election promises to the people.
They are extremely inefficient taxes meaning lots of public servants' wages taking up a lot of the tax.
They greatly increase costs of living by making everything more expensive. That's the aim of them, to make things more expensive. So, if you really mean things being too expensive as you say in your list, then ON policies won't work, literally batshit crazy to say here's a policy to increase costs, but it will reduce them. Nuts.
They also attract retaliatory tariffs from other countries. That means our exports get hit. Since we are a trading nation, that's also crazy.
Next, ON wants to limit overseas investment. Ok. So, if that's limited, and we want to build up our own industry, and we don't want to increase the deficit (all things in your list), where's the money come from?
Then there's Clive. One of the big drags on the Australian economy is the so-called Dutch Disease. That's a big mining sector that pays little tax, employs relatively few people, and artificially raises the exchange rate. What that means is that industry in Australia that does employ people is priced out of the market because imports are cheaper by a bit and exports are more expensive by a bit. Therefore those industries are choked, plus it fuels inflation. Then, once those industries are choked out of existence, there's fewer places for retirees to invest. So, what do they do? Invest in housing, driving up prices. I had a relly who got out of industrial shares in the early 2000s and bought property. Why? Most of the companies he held shipped overseas. By investing in property, he made bank, but also helped drive up property prices. Clive Palmer campained against reforms here. Great for Clive and Gina and Andrew, of course, batshit crazy for the rest of us.
Re: Federal election 2022
Wow! That is certainly a wall of words. I started reading with the idea of responding but there is just too much.
PHON federal policy for water includes removing the Goolwa Barrages and "returning" the lower lakes (presumably up to Blanchetown) to seawater. The "new water infrastructure projects, including dams and increase the supply to Australian farmers and our growing nation" will all be for Qld and NSW farmers as there is no way to supply that water to SA farmers and no water left to sustain wetlands and the native flora and fauna that rely on them.
The UAP 200km tax concession has merit in its intent. But personal income tax concessions would lead to a need for new freeways to deliver those residents (maybe in autonomous vehicles) to their existing city destinations, while ruining towns like Crystal Brook and Kingston on Murray that are just outside the circle. Look at "South Australia's next great city" of Mount Barker wanting better commuter transport to Adelaide. The tax breaks need to be for (labour-intensive) industry to set up and employ local residents rather than fly-in, fly-out workforces. Government needs to facilitate this with health and education infrastructure and services
