Sporting prowess on the international stage. Several years ago we held somewhere around 48 world champion titles in either team or individual sporting pursuits. (Surfing male and female, field hockey male and female, all number of swimming achievements, netball, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Cricket male and female, triathalon male and female, squash, motorcycle racing, basketball women and junior, tennis junior, canoeing, rowing, and so on.

Football, meat pies, kangaroos and Holden cars.

I also don't mind the original baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet, but without the baseball part. :wink:

the culture of mateship (which transcends basic friendship in many ways), and giving everyone a fair go - even those who initially come across as being wankers, drongo's, dipsicks or bludgers :-)

I like the Australian tendency away from nationalism. Although in recent times this seems to have given way to a decidedly racist form of nationalism in some quarters. The reason? Rampant nationalism often leads to xenophobia and fascism. Look at the US... ;)

Generally our Girls have Bigger Boobs and Better tans the UK girls..
