Re: The SA Politics Thread
I think once this alt-right wave washes over everyone in another five/ten years, the Liberal party will have to look inward and reinvent itself. Australia is far too centre for this rhetoric to be embraced aside from a few (as see in the recent Federal election).

It’s trash.
I go back home and there are so many vacant blocks littered about the same. If something really big is happening on this site then it will take even longer for approvals to happen. And if something average is going up, knowing our track record, it’ll truly be trite

I don't think anyone here will have issue with other big taller developments unless they look bad. Keystone is an example of that. Cannot wait to see that bad boy go up.

If they were doing it because of how corrupt this is then I’d back it but their points and this democracy hub make me want to route for this.
These complaints totally missed the mark.

In that last picture what is that panel where 3 is placed over? With all the lines? Is this a feature? Is it in the same finish of glass as the rest of the front? Is it concrete? If so that has potential to mess with the facade if not done well.

That's true, though I would think the impact, the wow factor, is quite tempered and if you're not too impressed with stage one, why come back for the other stages if a lot of the offerings aren't that new and not as lux as promised?

A large chunk of the centre to remain empty until that? And it isn't guaranteed either.
