In true South Australia style, that'll be an after thought addressed in a few years after the development is completed.

Depends on what the material is. If it's painted concrete or aluminium panelling, not great, but if it's tinted concrete or some other stone than probably pretty nice.

Given our track record im hoping for the later but expecting the former

Citify seem to do a bit more than some developers in regard to the aesthetics of their developments. The apartments they built on Melbourne St have murals on the blank precast walls.

Again, this shows to me the Citify are on the ball and at least have some level of community focus.SouthAussie94 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 10:25 pmCitify seem to do a bit more than some developers in regard to the aesthetics of their developments. How many other developers would have let the derelict, burnt out remains of the building sit there for another x months/years/decades?

Site is now clear and neat. The remnants of the heritage pub are looking bruised and battered but are still standing.
And it wouldn't be a multistory development in a wealthy Adelaide suburb without the customary stroppy local.

drive past this site regularly, whilst I am happy to see it developed. I think I'll stop driving past it as the traffic is going to be woeful.
