The usual suspects as in, yep,
that is exactly what I'd expect inner-city NIMBYs to look like
Same
Check out the grievances on their overly-dramatic website:

It blows my mind we have a city of people still hell bent on upholding a vision from centuries ago. Especially given Adelaide isn’t a city that has the demand or population growth to transform in a matter of decades. Small steps like this development allow for inner suburban development which is so needed to add vibrancy and emote the city forward

The "NIMBYs" are right. 20 storeys is completely and utterly inappropriate for this site. 8 levels or so, yes.

Is this height better in Kent Town?

This is the second tower in the Bloom project. They'll be connected by a shared podium.

I was wondering what the low rise building in between the 2 towers was. It was built first as a separate building

I believe this particular development has onsite aged care etc, so a different offering to the other buildings/townhouses etc.

Completion by late 2027? This is a bit long, based on previous projects at Glenside i would exspect it to be compled by mid - late 2026.

That's the timeline I heard, I don't know any reasons. Perhaps related to Schiavello being the new builders? Sarah have built the previous 5 buildings at Glenside and Elegan is the first building at Glenside being built by Schiavello. Or maybe that has nothing to do with it, I don't know.
