Shouldn't we be doing what we can to keep fattening shit like this out of Adelaide?
Also, the Americanization of our world continues

Possibly, but do you think that part of their allure is that we can't have any? Then the charity sale.. oh those teasers!
Sounds like viral marketing at its best.

Never argue with stupid people. They just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

It's a trend thing, you know it's not the best, you know it's over-priced, you know you could get something similar if not better at the price, but you still want one because everybody's going for one.
This is what Americans are good at influencing, just like iPod.
I intentionally went and line at at the stupid KK store inside Crown Casino in Melbourne just so that I can taste the donuts that everyone was bragging about, I had a few, bought 3-4 boxes back to Adelaide as a gift to relatives and friends. While they all like it so much, I did not seem to enjoy a bit, major factor for diabetes and tooth decay, also obesity.

Yay, now I won't have to keep bringing them back from Sydney..
Although. Its probably a good thing they are so far away so its easier to resist the temptation. They are so nice.
Those gourmet donuts in City Cross are nice,, but they just aren't Krispy Kremes.

I was really disappointed with that place. Having stayed in the US and seen a REAL doughnut shop (or should that be donut for the US?) where they have a wall of varieties, then seeing Gormet Glaze's several variations of the same thing after all their hooplah. :wank:

After all this donut talk I had to get my fix. I went with a Gourmet Glaze Donut. By the time I got back to work with it the bag had gone see-through with all the grease.
I started to regret my decision to get one. But it was nice.

I like fattening shit! As long as I can continue to eat or drink it without needing to acquire my own postcode, then so it shall be.

They have been very coy in releasing details about their store openings, but they know the demand is here.
I flew back in from Melbourne tonight and noticed that the retail space ajacent to the newsagency in the airport terminal is all boarded up. Looks like KK's at the airport isnt too far away

That's actually a Rip Curl store. Kinda odd store for the airport though.
